My Grandad is Bill Snell, long time labour supporter, ex city councillor and worked for USDAW for many years before his retirement. He is now 84 and in poor health. He remembers visiting the Labour Club on Picton Road and seeing a bust or similar representation of his father Robert on display. He seems to remember it was at the top of the stairs. Does anyone else remember this and possibly know what happened to it? It would be very nice to find this piece of family history whilst Bill is still with us.
