Mercer family/Brompton Road

The Mercer Family, my mum, Gladys and her 4 sisters and 1 brother, lived in 1a Brompton Road, a flat above what we believe was a bike shop on Edge Lane, and then 2 Brompton Road. We can't find any trace of Brompton Road now though. She went to Birchfield Road School, worked for a while in the 'Automatic' and as a stage artist then moved to the Wirral with Dad in 1952. The sisters, Madge, Dolly, Flo and Mary all married locally as did the Brother, Christopher. Their parents were Christopher and Mary Elizabeth Mercer. Christopher died in 1936 and when Dolly married John Molyneux in 1940 they were living in Lorne Street.
Anyone out there know the family or anything about them? I'd love to hear from you.
