Would you care to reveal any other clues to their adopted surname? In your article you have said that it is the name of a notorious anti semitic historian and that it is "double barreled". Do you mean by that that the name is one like Smith-Jones or Bader-Ginsburg? I'm not looking them up. In fact I live nowhere near Long Island. I'm just fascinated by this whole story. I am something of an amateur historian in the field of German history and while I knew about Paula Hitler and even William Patrick I did not know about his life after 1946 in the US.
