Hi there i too have had trouble finding pictures of Tommy Whites,
I was born there i lived at 6d for a short time
then 70d until they were knocked down in 1984
Anyone remember the 20 steps
cockies shed in the big square,(which i fell off)
the park in the big square with the brick dome with a slide going down,
then later was were we had our massive bommy! every one lit the fireworks around it.
The rubbish shoots near the end of each landing.
Our little kitchens that went on to the living room
The lobby (hall) with terracotta tiles.
The graffiti on the stair wells.
the mobile- it sold all kinds ( you could buy 1 egg )
( hey can i mind your car? ) match days were great.££££££££££.Ha Ha
The gardens playing on rope swings from the trees
and we all played together! X
