I am trying to find my grandfather , Who left St. John's Newfoundland in 1938 and joined the royal Navy in the UK , after the war was over he didn't return home, as he was divorsed from my grandmother , he made his home in liverpool and my father has not seen is dad sense he was 5 years old. We have been trying to find him for years. We don't know if he is still alive, He would be about 85 - 90 years old . If there is anyone out there that may know or have known a Maxwell George Humber , believed to have been a cook in the navy. Was a boxer in his younger days. We believe he sailed with the Blue Funnel Line. If anyone has any infomation at all about him it would be greatly appricated .
