Hi. I have been trying unsuccessfully to obtain information about Childwall House on Well Lane. My ggggf was living there in 1861 according to the census and I would love to hear more or possibly get a photo if it still exists. It appears from your forum that someone here may be able to help. My great grandmother was still living in Gateacre when I was born, but alas I was only three at that time. Can anyone help out? By the way - I live in Canada now, but it sounds like Lancashire is a neat place to visit. Many thanks. Carol
