Hemmings of Hale

Does anyone know the date of opening of the concrete garage and filling station in Hale Village (of Childe of Hale fame) called Hemmings of Hale. I believe it to be around 1935.

I am anxious to find a photograph of the opening and of the owner at the time, Mr A.E.Hemmings.

If I can find even the approx date, I can look in the Widnes Weekly News archives for more information.
