Hi Mike
My father was also adopted from Sunnybank.
I have all the paper work his birth certificate with his birth name on it.The letter to my grandmother from the hostel of hope in Liverpool.I also have his birth mothers name i can find all her family on cencus records but no trace of her at all it seems she vanished without trace.My daughter has been trying for a very long time now to find info on Sunnybank and Constance Wishaw.I have found her on the 1901 cencus living at Sunnybank,Arnside Westmorland.It says she was born in 1859 in Chipping Norton Oxfordshire.I have also found her on the cencus of 1881/1961
1871.If you have any info you think may help me
it would be great.
