My great-great-grandfather sold sewing machines from 1868 at 120 Bold Street, Liverpool. He sold machines made by Bradbury's of Oldham. In 1874 they bought his business. By 1880 the Bradbury depot was just up the road at 128 Bold Street. This business remained at that address until at least 1899 and possibly until the 1920s. This building is still standing although empty and derelict looking with no windows on the first and second floors. Scaffolding can currently be seen in the upper floors.
Does anyone know of an old photograph of either of these shops? I would prefer photographs taken in the victorian era, but later views would be interesting too.
