doing some research for my uncle-in-law, he comes from the Toxteth area of the 1920s-1930s, His name is George Quayle Hughes, born 1931; his father was also George born 1898.
We know the family originate in the Isle of Man, but any other info would be fantastic.
The other name I am interested in is McMichael, also from the Toxteth area - he knows very little about his maternal family- his mother was Louisa McMichael, born 1896(?) her father was Robert.
