i remember the dolls hospital, i lived directly opposite at 108a kirkdale road. i remember the guy that worked at or owned the shop ,i think his name was peter ,he also owned a small lock up garage at the bottom of kirk st where he kept a motor bike. i remember he always wore a white lab coat,dont remember much else. if anyone has any old photos of the area i would be greatful for any copies. does anyone remember the wood yards and scrap yards that where on kirk st, here are a few names i remember from the 60s, all were owners of businesses on kirk st, they are billy ross [scrap yard and taxis], tommy webb [scrap yard], barney flynn [wood yard,scrap yard and rag yard]
