cherry lane as such still exists at the bottom of utting avenue just by the bridge before you get to queens drive as you drive away from stanley park,,,,,the clarence pub is on the corner of cherry lane,,,and prior to the 1920's before the 'pinehurst' housing estate was built it was i am told open fields,,,,,,so the farm would have existed along what is now cherry lane ,,,and i think that a dairy was situated there for many years
