Owen-Michael street names

I was told as a child of the street names in a certain area of Liverpool, which were built by someone who's surname was Owen-Michael. The street names all spelt out the initials of his surname. I know my grandmother lived on one of them and they were knocked down well over 15 years ago. I can't seem to find any info on this and my father passed away 2yrs ago and there is no one left to ask. Anyone heard of this? I would be grateful if you can give me any info at all. Thanks Candy
