Up my street history

Hi, A few years ago a friend showed me a piece of art/history that they'd had researched for them and am intersted in getting one myself. Basically, you told the fella your name, your street and what era you were interested in and he'd produce a (frameable) paper telling you who lived in your street, how much they earned and other interesting bits and bobs about the place you grew up. I'm sure he used to be on display in St Georges Hall once a month. Is he still there? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks in advance Fiona
