when i was i kid i was always in the shop with my brother and sister, my granddad (george huby of 46 pilch lane knotty ash) and his wife my nanna would sell dolls clothes and repair dolls ie new arms and hair ect.i remember the shop being old even when i was a kid the old till and telephone and all the glass display cases, up stairs he had old china dolls and old toys we had hours of fun up there, we even smashed the china heads, not funny now bet they are worth a fortune now. then there was this one big doll always on the stairs, it always scared us......sorry to ramble on. need to know more please email me..regards ian maybe i can give you his daughters..my aunts phone number.
