My ggg grandfather, Alexander Mills, died in June 1868 of typhoid fever aged 51. He was a lamplighter and lived at 126 Robsart Street, Everton. Was there an epidemic at the time as it looks like two of his children died as well (still researching this bit) or was it down to bad living conditions?
