Hi, I have a book entitled, "The Treadmill & The Rope; The History of a Liverpool Prison, by Tod Sloan, published by, Gallery Press, 1988. It's a really fascinating insight into the Kirkdale House of Correction and has many references to the Assizes, those executed there and so forth. I paid one pound, 95 for it when I was back home visiting family about 1997. Hope this helps. Best wsihes, Pete.
