Hi Alan
Their was a Hospital called the Northern and its founder was a person called David Lewis this was in Leeds Street Liverpool they also had beds in the hospital donate to Tate&lyle the sugar manufators on Merseyside,the hospital and Tate&lyle are no longer there thats all a can recall of a david Lewis it maybe a start in your research good luck.
