Dear Lynn. I have book called 'Images of England. Around Speke' In it there are several arial photo's taken in 1952 and my house can be seen. I was born in 1953 in Stapleton Ave and can remember there only being fields towards what is know Eastern Ave. My Uncle had a kindling cutting barn were Fords is now and I used to catch Frogs and Tadpoles, Newts and Dragonflies at the Eight Ponds. In our road there is a women who moved into her house in the early fifties but reckons the houses were built ealier as she wasn't the first occupier. It's just that only my Solicitor seems to think the house was built in 1950. Regards. Les
