Have a fascination with the Necropolis. I did visit Liverpool in search of it only to find gateway and no cemetery. Have since found that it was grassed over as Grant Gardens in earely part of last century. a number of my ancestors were buried there (so says Family Bible)
Am also intersted in ANY information regarding another ancestor Sir Joshua Walmsley who I do know was famous in Liverpool's past. His father owned quarries in Toxteth and apparently was responsible for some of Liverpool's early buildings. anyone know any more ????
