Posted by Dave Evans The pub was quite famous for a while when one or two of the Beatles (MacCartney, I think and maybe Harrison) tried to step in to save it from demolition because of the fabulous coloured Victorian tiles with which the outside was decorated. They failed and the pub went - but I can't find any refence to it on the web and, no longer being in Liverpool, accessing the Liverpool Records Office is difficult. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Dave

Does anyone have a photo of the Derby Arms pub which stood at the corner of Everton Valley and Kirkdale Road, which they might allow me to use on a website I'm developing about the area I was brought up in (Netherfield Road North)?
