Does anyone have any information about internment of Germans during WW1. My Greatgrandfather who had lived in Liverpool since 1880 was interned in Libury Hall in Ware Herts, I want to know why he was taken so far away. He died there in 1916, his name was Charles Novak he may have come from Ottersberg in Germany. I am also trying to find out information about the German Church on Renshaw Street. Any info would be gratefully received.
