Posted by Storm Smackdown was pretty eventful.......Started off with Shane and Stephanie coming out to the ring and talking a little bit, followed by them introducing the newest member of the Alliance, William Regal, then he came out. Little bit later, Stone Cold and Debra came out and they talked a while in the ring. Then I heard music i hadn't heard in a while........Linda McMahon walks out...the crowd flipped out!!! She promptly announces that William Regal's services are no longer needed as WWF commissioner and fired him, but didn't immediately announce who the new commissioner was. The best quote of the night, was from her when she told Stone Cold, "You live by the sword, you die by the sword" Kidman is back and had a match against X-Pac. The Alliance came to the ring after the Jericho/RVD match at the instructions of Stone Cold. And Jericho won that matchup thanks to the help of Stone Cold with a chair. Stone Cold kept telling RVD how proud he was of him and that her had real potential and to not back down from any fight. Then he thanked Shane McMahon for all his help and told him he loved him and hugged him....I about gagged!! Then the new commissioner's music hit......it's Mick Foley. After a little trash talking, Mick announced that he wanted to main event at the next PPV to be a triple threat match between Austin, Angle, and RVD. RVD said he accepted because Stone cold had just gotten done telling him to not back down from a fight. There was a very short match between Tazz and Maven and Tazz won again, but this time Maven got Tazz in the end. Al Snow was a guest announcer at ringside and came in to congratulate Maven. Hurricane Helms had a match against Kane, which was the funniest damn match i've seen in a long time....especially some of the things he said to Kane before hand.......I can't remember who, but some alliance members came out, I think Test and Booker T, and started ganging up on Kane. Pretty soon Taker came running out to help. Kurt Angle had the last match of the night against Regal, in which Regal promptly got his ass kicked. After the match, Kurt was standing in the ring Regal walked back up the ramp, then started motioning for people to come out of the back and run to the ring. One by one, Raven, Kanyon, and a couple other guys came out and Kurt took them out....then they started ganging up in bigger numbers and pretty soon the Rock came out to help Angle. Of course, they kicked ass, but what I think won't be on TV, was Rock asked Kurt to do the People's strut, or struedel, couldn't hear very well, then rock demonstrated by thrusting his hips forward...........Kurt stood in the ring for a while, then Rock finally said to the crowd, ok, count with me and he'll do it on 3....so we counted 1-2-3, then Kurt thrust his hips forward once before starting to laugh. They then ran up the ramp together and held each other's hands in the air. They kept going backstage, then one would drag the other out and they'd hold each other's hands in the air again, they did this several times.....pretty funny stuff.

Taped at the MARK Of The Quad Cities on October 9, 2001.......be forewarned, I'm still pretty wired from the show last night so I'm sure I missed a few matches here and there. I'll have a full report when the show airs and it all comes rushing back to me.
