If you’re in need of such a farrier, then I highly recommend Jason Stasiuk.
He services ALL OVER TEXAS!! He’s currently looking to take on some more trim jobs in the San Antonio area to make his trip there worthwhile. He trims ALL SIZES and AGES OF HORSES!
He can correct some of the most difficult hoof cases, and is currently working on correcting a horse with a bad case of FOUNDER! He trims in the Natural Mustang Hoof Care ways. This way of trimming is slowly catching on as horses with hoof problems are corrected simply by taking off the shoes, and trimming the hoof to the way of the wild Mustang. He is very knowledgeable about what he is doing and I more than recommend you try him out. I use him for both my miniatures and full sized horses, and he does an awesome job. He also loves animals and will literally play around with your horse while he trims their feet, the most friendly farrier I’ve ever met towards my horses. He’s patient and understanding and is more than experienced with horse behavior as he owns, rides, and trains Endurance horses for a living. The worst that could happen is you end up liking his services and have him come out on a regular basis to trim your horses for years to come!

P.S. I pray that you take heed and warning if you plan on using Tony Haslam, located in San Antonio, TX area, as a farrier. He trims hooves the un-correct way and can make your horses go lame. My horses limped around for days after her came out, something that is NOT supposed to happen. He was also extremely pushy of his opinions and ditched me because I refused to actually put into practice his "suggestions". Hardly suggestions when you're forcing them on someone. He also failed to show up on the 4 week appointment he set for us, didn't call, email, or anything until "I" emailed him, of which at that time he told me that he didn't want to come back out because I wouldn't succumb to his "suggestions" (ultimatums). Either way...use him at your own risk!
