Posted by Renee Before you read what I'm looking for, know that if your mare is really close to what I am looking for, but not everything I've mentioned that I want, it's ok, PLEASE tell me about her anyways. I want as many options as possible and am open to any mares that come close to what I want, as long as they don't stray too far from what I am looking for. Here is what I am looking for and hope to find being that I'm being picky: COLOR WANTED: Cremello, Perlino, Buckskin, Homozygous Tobiano Buckskin, Tovero Buckskin, LWO Overo Buckskin, Frame Overo Buckskin, or just plain Overo Buckskin. Also taking thought into mares that are LWO or Frame overo in bay, chestnut, sorrel, and palomino...and any Tovero or Homozygous Tobiano mares that are bay, chestnut, sorrel, and palomino, that are loud color producers. None of these mares should have the gray, silver, smutty, roan, or dappling genes or any other similar type genes. I won't consider black or dark colored horses, or solids that aren't Cremello, Perlino, or Buckskin. AGE: 3-10 years old (breedable or been bred before) PEDIGREE/BACKGROUND: I'm not going to get picky here. My preference would be a mare that has at least one side of her pedigree with the well known Buckaroo bloodlines, bonus if on both sides. If your mare does not have Buckaroo in her pedigree, I am also looking for ties back to ANY and ALL WELL KNOWN bloodlines...like Lazy N Redboy, Vant Huttenest, Kings Supreme, Gold Melody Boy, Rowdy, and other famous well known names constantly heard and sought after. If you mare doesn't have any ties back to any well known horses, I'm not interested. She needs to have at least one side of her pedigree that has some nice bloodlines since I'm trying to breed for show quality foals, even if the parents have never been shown. I would love to find a mare that has either been shown and won national champions, but I doubt it for the price range I'm looking in. If at all possible, if she weren't ever shown, I'd love to have at least one or both parents have a show record behind them, whether that be winning the blue or a national championship. The mare doesn't have to have show winning parents, but she does need to carry some of the well known bloodlines so that even if she was never shown, her foals could win something. Again...any mare that has a show record or parents with show records is preferred, but it's also a bonus and the mare does not have to have this specification. CONFORMATION: I would prefer the Arabian style.....noticable dishy head, refined, correct bite and legs, "Look at me" stance, high tail set...if that can't be found though, I am willing to look at any other mares as long as they have refinement, throw refinement, or are close to being refined enough, mares that are correct in legs and bite, and have at least a slight slight dishy head, even if not noticable from a distance, as long as the face isn't dead flat. Again....even if your mare is a little off of this description, PLEASE send me your offer anyways. I am VERY willing to take a look at any offers, as long as they are close to what I want. They don't have to be exact. I may find the mare I'm looking for and it not be what I was originally looking for. Please...no quarter horse type mares that are bulky and big boned unless they throw the refined foals I'm striving for. BREEDING: If the mare has been bred before, I would like to see pictures of EVERY foal she's ever had. If you don't have the pictures, give me the email address of the person the foal was sold to. I want to know what my future mare could be throwing for me, so pictures are a must. She must be a good mother, no foaling problems, and easy to breed back without having to give her shots to make her come into heat. If she hasn't been bred before, I want proof that she is capable of having foals, if there is such a thing. I don't want to be surprised with a mare that can't have foals because she is sterile. SOCIALIZATION: This mare should have been handled from the day she was born, or at least constantly worked with on grooming, hoof trims, body clippings, and other similar things. She shouldn't be shying away or be kicking when she's getting clipped or trimmed or have any behavior problems as such. PRICE: Mare should be no more than $2000, NO exceptions. I'm on a budget and can't afford over $2000. If you have a mare that fits what I am looking for, PLEASE EMAIL ME! I am VERY interested in finding the right mare for me and I will know it when I've found her. Even if you think you don't have the right mare for me, email me anyways and I will take what you are offering into consideration, especially if the mare you have only slightly strays from what I am looking for. I am wanting a mare solely for the purpose of breeding and foaling good quality show horses, so the mare doesn't have to be everything I want her to be...just as long as the foals come out as everything I want them to be. She should be close though. When you email me, if you could please attach any current photos of your mare that you have, as well as any other pictures you may have of her from past years. PLEASE HELP ME FIND MY PERFECT MARE!!! Thank you for taking a look!

MARE WANTED!!!
(PLEASE email me...don't post your response here)
I am seriously looking into buying a mare. At first I was just looking and was offered a beautiful mare that I would have bought if the owner didn't pull out at the last minute, so it got me to really know that I AM wanting to buy a mare at this time and am no longer just looking. Take in mind that your mare can come from any other state even if it's not located in Texas, as long as it's not out of the country or over seas. Texas is preferred, but it doesn't have to be Texas.
HEIGHT: 33"-36"
REGISTRY: AMHR. Mare can also be AMHA, but doesn't have to be.
