Links 2001 automatically minimizes during game

Anyone have any suggestions as to why my screen automatically minimizes when playing a round on Links 2001. It started months ago and only did it once about 4-5 minutes into the game, now it does it every 7-8 minutes throughout the entire game. It is becoming so frustrating.
