Links 2003 & ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 on a notebook

Links 2003 doesn't work very propper on my new HP nx7000 Notebook.
Although I have quite a good graphics card (for a notebook) I have problems.
All the sprites and menues are only dotted in lines and links 2003 is extremely slow.
Does anybody have fix to cure this problem?
