I have the same problem, the game starts great then when the golfer appears he has massive lines through him. And the menus on the bottom of the screen also have lines through them.
I'm running a ATI 8500 pro with plenty of power and memory to back it up. I play lots of other high end games with out a single problem.
Let me know if you hear anything at all, I've let Links support know but with no response from them.
