Linnks 2k3 & Radeon 9100 Graphics Card Problems

I have just started to play links 2k3 (including 1.02 update) and have a sapphire radeon 9100 128mb graphics card with the latest drivers, p4 1.7 with 512mb rdram, I have changed settings to best for performance but the info displays, golfer and ball all have vertical lines through them, has anybody else had this problem, or have any ideas to solve this.
