Links 2003 v1.02 patch

I have just updated my version of Links 2003 from v1.00 to v1.02 with latest patch.
Now I have NO sound whatsoever either from intro or ingame.
It is not my soundcard as I have just upgraded drivers and have sound on all other games/software/applications
Is there a bug in v1.02 ??
