Links 2003 crash

Hello
I keep having problems with my links 2003. It crashes after a few holes. Either it has my computer restart or it crashes down to Win XP.
I have an intel PIII 733, 512MB RAM with a geforce 3 video card. I have tried many NVIDIA drivers, (including the most recent) I tried a geforce 2 mx 400, I uninstalled and reinstalled many times, I even reformated my HD and did a complete instalation.
Still the games keep crashing gamewise I tried shutting down cameras, I tried using lower resolution etc ....
Any help would be appreciated.
