I had a similar experience.. Somtimes the course would load. Most of the time it wouldn't. When it did load, it would freeze up rendering a scene several holes into the course. I went to options, slid the graphics bar all the way down and it plays find (and fast) now. Seems you need a super beefy system to run this puppy.
