Choppy Swing Meter

I am hoping that someone can help me....I have just upgraded my computer so that I could purchase Links 2003...I have had every other links golf game and never had this problem....has anyone else experienced a choppy swing meter? The rest of the game works fine...totally confusing.....Please help...
