I don't have a solution for you, but I'm having the identical problem, with exactly the same courses. We both have the same video card (actually mine is 32 meg)and I also have themost recent drivers installed. I really think this is a compatibility prob with this card. curious though, do you have Direct X9 installed? I've been trying to determine whether these problems occurred before or after I installed DX9. I hear MS will be coming out with a patch in the near future. will be interesting to see if it helps or not.
