Posted by Joe Perez The game runs very slowly. Ball off the club hang in the air forever! The player's movements are also very slow, just short of jerky. The game is set to run in 1024 x 768 16 bit, with Quality set to three notches blow max. Random Sky, Shadows and Animated Flags are all turned on. Links has historically required much fewer resources for a game with this much video quality. In fact, Just to make sure that the game was experiencing a proble, I installed it on a desktop with win98, that only has an old Viper 32 MB video card (but 512 MB RAM). With the SAME otions settings, the game runs smooth as glass, with a HIGHER video setting, and in 32-bit to boot. I'm not as familiar with XP, so in trying to cut down on resources that might be hogging the XP system, so I went into "Taskmasker" and in "Processors" killed all the stuff that was listed with my name, and nothing that was listed as a "System" processor. In it's current state, the game is unplayable, so any help is appreciated. Joe Perez

I have Links 2003 running on a DELL Inspiron 8200 notebook. It has 384 MB of RAM, and a 64 MB Radeon Mobility 9000. Windows XP is the installed system.
