Had same ATI APG 32/ did the same: upgraded to a Radeon 7500 APG (not much of an upgrade) but good for 2 years. Fixed the problem. Thinking Big Bill Gates didn't do his homework with the recomended 32 MB card as far as im conerened! smart man but when your too smart ya know too much! Works for me $150.00 Tx in / Canadian tire funds. ATI 7500 APG is a decent card but needs A lil power(300+watt) for faster games then links 2k3 and a lil tweaking don't hurt. Customer support is there too!
