Intel 945GM graphics problems?

I have a new Sony VGNFE590 (Core Duo) Laptop which has integrated Intel 945GM graphics. I am getting error messages running Links 2003. I downloaded the patches on this site to upgrade to 1.05, but I am betting that would fix it.
Intel's site says no reported problems but I haven't found how to tell them. Any ideas?
