Wow! Very interesting and mystical--almost Hopkinsesque--stuff! Were these originally written in Polish? Who translated them into English (if they were not written in English already of course.) Wow! I'm thinking he was relating the worker in stone to God in the sheer creative will and force and such. Very very amazing!
