Your answer amazes me (as you always do) with its keen insight and intuitive understanding of my poetic theme. This type of comprehension makes the effort of writing this poem so worthwhile. I am deeply grateful, my friend, for your thoughts and impressions. They really reflect here what I was trying to accomplish as a writer. Camille Monet appeared in 10 or 12 of Monet's paintings, ( perhaps more) and often I wondered how she felt on the inside, how she fared in the shadow of an artisttic genuis. From what I have studied of Monet, he was obsessed with catching different angles of light and its effect on the landscape and people around him. I think often he may have been insensitive to his wife's needs or desires. You bring up a most interesting point about the "intangible". What is it and how are we to grasp it? Good to see you Sara and thanks again for this wondrous reply Blessings and peace
