crawling down

with my mountian bike
on my sholder
rain
across the river
and up
a hill
that could kill
a mortal
then
another
locking the bike
with the lock
that is a very effective
weapon
noticing
the blood
has washed off
in the rain
after flashing my
badge
to the security guard
boss says
don't I pay you
enough
to get a car
and I say
no
don't tell him
I have no credit
couldn't get one
in the heat
after a few hours
guy that works with me
bets me
he can beat me
across the bridge
in his car

the guy I worked with
