My pond is so full with water, geese and fish. It's starkly beautiful, even with the bleached branches of trees, jutting out of its surface. Trees that the storms took years ago, split them right down the middle and let one half of them fall away to the water. Now those branches make a siting perch for the heron and other birds that drop by.
