Firstly well done to Liam on the new improved match reports with pictures.
I thought we did everything that we had to do Saturday,yes they werent very good but they still created quite a few chances which was worrying.Hustwick was absoluty outstanding but the"otherwise impressive Dukka Liam?" was far from that and i think most of us would like to see a fit Marc Cable or Joe Vines playing that position.
Big George was superb and i think our midfield was outstanding with Storey showing glimpses of quality along with a very good Kadi second half,i wish people wouldnt get on his back quite as quick as on Saturday,that took some balls to take that penalty as i felt the arrows bieng sharpened by some if he had missed.Kennett was excellent and does a heck of a lot of work but i thought both Clarkie and Kirk(both excellent pre-season) had quite ones.
Upfront Barringtons desire to play even though he looked injured impressed tremendously and Luke Cornwall is beggining to really win me over although Lee and Mark when they come on turned the game.
So i was really happy with the points but we will have to step up a gear to defeat local rivals Bognor,those of us who remember the game there two years ago remember captain Cables performance there, we may well need him again.
Well done the rooks though Saturday with 520 crowd good start with so many away,6 points in two games i will be rubbing my eyes!!
