Posted by liam However I do not think you are right to suggest that people are 'scared' to post on here. There are nearly 100 fans who have registered for this board (including quite a few away fans), and although there are plenty of names I don't recognise, some of the ones I do will always say what they think whether it be positive or negative. They will also usually be in a strong position to judge because they follow the team home and away. I got sick of being asked at every game 'did you see what ........ has posted on the website?' (funny how nobody ever asked that question unless the post was a b###h/whinge etc.....) Those who run leweschat.tk are, to a certain extent, faceless, and thus don't have to deal with such annoyances. I am glad that those who want to stir **** still have somewhere to do it (freedom of speech blah blah blah), and those who are new to the club have somewhere to go if they cannot initially be bothered to register in order to find out how to become a steward. However from a personal point of view the decision was a good one - as many people come to the site as ever, so it doesn't appear to have dissuaded anyone, and it has saved me a lot of hassle. I am sorry if there are still some who hanker after the good old days, but although the site will soon undergo a radical facelift, the forum on here will remain registration only. You know where to go if you don't like that.

I think you are right, Dave - however enjoyable PSFs might be, people don't start getting really excited about the football until the league season begins, and of course quite a few of the regulars are away at this time of year as well.
