It's a bit quiet on the forum at the moment so let's get a bit of debate going. Now I am not criticising anyone here, but merely giving my opinion as a supporter. With the exception of Barrington none of the new players have really impressed me enough to consider them better than what we already have. I know it's very early days yet but the team we had at the very end of last season was fabulous, as their achievements will tell for years to come. I would hate to see these players playing second fiddle to the new signings unless their form dictates otherwise, and in my opinion, it hasn't yet. Nowhere near. What does anyone else think?
Secondly, the new bar. It is very nice isn't it? I like it. However, it is a football club. Lewes Football Club. I think it needs a bit of personalising with something Lewes FC..ish. Not too much. Maybe one or two quality and tasteful framed pictures and/or other memorabilia just to take away the plainness and to add a bit of Lewes football flavour. The bar is for supporters like me and you, so, opinions anyone?
(PS. Cliff: Your idea about pole and lap dancers wearing only Lewes shirts is a non-starter).
