Posted by wobble Remember one of the best supported teams at the Pan? The team that handed Lewes the championship by drawing with Worthing? Well now Slough Town need everyones support. Playing at Windsor, they had been promised a new ground on a bit of old landfill site with lots of sports facilities for the local community in a particularly run down bit of the town (ok most of the town looks run down) However with the recent council elections the new leader of the council has said the club can't build there and suggested helpful things like merging - our chairman has had enough and has left giving the club to the council. Big demo planned outside thee Town Hall tomorrow - If any Lewes supporters would like to sign the Slough Town guestbook that would be much appreciated.

This message is from a slough town supporting flatmat of a lewes supporter and the lewes supporter(me) does not entirely hold with all of the beliefs of the slough town supporter(the bit about handing us the championship etc...)but the rest is all bang on.
