Supporters club AGM tonight at Kings Head at 7-30.
It would be nice to see fans,directors,players attend so that everything can be discussed just the once!
New dugouts are now in and bar is starting to look top bannana as do some of our new signings.Dont know if they are new signings or not but there was a striker and a defender at training last night who were as big as the proverbial brick toilet and just as solid!In my mind these guys have already got my vote for players of the season as even though my face isnt handsome my features are round about in the right places and i would like it to stay that way!
Squad last night looked awesome and strong in every department with big players ,small players, quick players,ball winners and a choice of forwards sent from the gods.Everyone knows i am a eternal pessimist who even when we are 3-0 up with 5 minutes to go still would settle for a point but just watching the boys train and the team spirit (which developed through the last few games of the season and play-offs)with the lads playing tennis with each other and having a laugh just gets you believing that cannon fodder we aint,contenders we are.Im not saying first year in a new league we can win it but i think that the top teams like Weymouth wont consider us a banker 3 points by a longshot.
Roll on the new season with vists to many new grounds unlike the mob down the road!
