I thought that the pitch last last season better than it ever has done in the past. I remember when it used to be a total mud-bath as soon as the rains came, but the effort that has gone in to bring up to scratch has been fantastic. I had a quick look over the wall last week, and to be honest, it looks like a bowling green. Well done to all those concerned - a great job.
