At a meeting in London with some old Arborfield Boys I was asked by Al Twining if there was going to be another Kluang reunion. I contacted Mick as he and Rosnah had been the driving force behind the number of successful reunions over the years for which we are eternally grateful. There is no question a reunion in Kluang takes a lot of organisation especially the permission to visit the camp which requires passport copies request forms etc. The first step is to find if there is enough interest out there, we are all that much older now and many are incapacitated in some way. We have also lost a number of our friends. If there was a meeting to be arranged then Mick advised that it would be similar to the last one i.e. we will meet at the Hotel in Kluang on a particular day and whoever would like to attend turns up. As the camp visit is a hassle to organise would a Kluang meeting be worth while without a camp visit ????. Lets see what response we get and then play it off the cuff. I will be in London in August and try to catch up with Mo, Andy, and Vossa. We will pick a day and advise the pub chosen and see who wants to meet up. Whilst on this site some sad news for those who did not know I discovered from the Bristow site our friend Johnny Nielson passed away some time ago having retired to Spain hence the difficulties when searching for his contact. Good to see and hear from you all again and good news on your health Magic keep fighting the good fight. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Regards
Bas
