It is with the greatest pleasure I can confirm all arrangements are in place for us to
participate in a most enjoyable time together over the weekend of 18/20th July 2014.
Since the mid 70s the AOBA has held an annual reunion; latterly in July. For years this has been in Arborfield, however due both to the rundown of the Garrison and the growth in the association it is no longer possible for us to meet there. Therefore, with great reluctance, in 2012 we moved to a 4 star hotel in the Midlands, coupled with a visit to the National Memorial Arboretum where together with the other main Apprentice Schools we have built a dedicated Army Apprentice Memorial. We have now held two reunions in these venues and the weekend is proving to be very popular with all, especially as now we are able to bring our respective partners to enjoy the complete itinerary.
In recent years we have placed a focus on honouring the 50th anniversary of that year's intake and last year we all agreed it would be good to invite non members of the AOBA enjoying their 50th Anniversary to join us specifically for that weekend.
If you'd like an indication of what the weekend holds in store have a read of the 2012 write-up here http://www.arborfieldoldboys.co.uk/2012%20report.html
