As to Barry's comments, if the snob thing is aimed at me then you truly miss my point(as you did with the favorite band article). You say long live the critics, but then critique them for being critics. In addition, I would say everyone who has posted on this particular post has certainly produced art in their lives (I think we all have our own bands CD's at home), so if you are referring to any of the posters as "sitting on the sidelines" or "isolated", then I would not agree with you.
Alan, the voice message was to get you to call back. As to drum solos, what about the Kodo drummers? Alice and I saw them in Dallas and if that wasn't art then I'm a monkey's uncle.
